Abacus/Deepey Freed are working to prepare a masterplan for submission as an outline planning application for the development of between 350 and 450 homes on land west of Brixham Road.

The site, referred to as Inglewood in reference to existing local features, embraces key sustainability principles and seeks to ensure the creation of long term value for the local community, businesses, residents and the site itself. It has been driven by a desire to work with the characteristics of the local landscape and ecology present in the area.

Public consultation events are being held on

Thursday 11th May (1530 to 1900)

and

Saturday 13th May (1000 to 1500)

For those not able to attend, the material presented at the exhibition is available on this website.

We hope that the information is useful and that it helps you to understand the work that has been undertaken to inform the proposed masterplan. All comments are welcome and can be provided via online survey.

All comments received, whether online or in writing, will be reviewed and then analysed by the project team, specifically the Town Planning lead at Stride Treglown and Avril Baker Consulting (experts in community consultation and engagement). Where comments raise matters of that need more consideration then the design team will reflect on where it might be possible or appropriate to make changes to the proposals to improve the final design.

The application will include a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) which will set out clearly how we have engaged with the local community and key stakeholders.
